What suggestions do you have to ensure a memorable climbing experience with minimal environmental impact?  What types of infrastructure have you seen at other climbing areas that you would like to see in the Cirque? Infrastructure can include anything from bolted routes to facilities for human waste.

When climbing and hiking the beautiful bugaboos located in BC, the location is pristine due to climber and residents' commitments for wilderness ethics to protect that specific area. Facilities are availalbe to manage the carry capacity, behaviour of climbers is a local responsibility by fostering educational awareness. (Ie. climbers constructed two local sport climb walls in elementary schools for use of all ages. Visiting climbing appreciate the local engagement which results in greater knowledge of the peoples, region, and care for natural safe experience.

Climbers, in general, tend to be self sufficient, environmentally aware and self-governing. There are, of course, exceptions to every stereotype. Most climbers will use the outhouse if one exists, pack out their garbage and use appropriate and peer-acceptable bolting an area such as the Cirque. Parks can help climbers do a better job of protecting the Cirque by providing outhouses, hardened tent sites and food lock-boxes.
